Biografía.
J. Julieta Noguez Monroy es profesora de asignatura del Departamento de Computación, de la Facultad de Ingeniería de la UNAM. Fue profesora-investigadora en el Departamento de Computación del Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Ciudad de México (1995-2024). Es ingeniería en Comunicaciones y Electrónica (1982) por el Instituto Politécnico Nacional. Recibió el grado de maestría (1998) y del Doctorado (2006) en Ciencias de la Computación por el Tecnológico de Monterrey. Fue co-líder del grupo de investigación en Inteligencia Artificial Avanzada (2021-2024). Fue responsable del laboratorio de CyberLearning & Data Sciences del Tecnológico de Monterrey (2015 - 2024). Sus líneas de investigación son: a) Sistemas inteligentes y tecnologías computacionales en educación y b) Inteligencia Artificial y Ciencia de Datos aplicadas a Salud y a diversas disciplinas. Pertenece al Sistema Nacional de Investigadores de México (SNI nivel II), Academia Mexicana de Computación (AmexComp), Sociedad Mexicana de Inteligencia Artificial (SMIA), a la Sociedad de Computación del IEEE, a la Sociedad de Educación del IEEE. Ha dirigido 14 tesis doctorales y 15 tesis de maestría. Ha publicado más de 150 artículos de investigación en revistas y congresos internacionales. Fue editora asociada de la revista Transaction on Learning Technology de la IEEE de 2019 a 2022. Participa como columnista de la revista de divulgación Komputr Sapiens de la SMIA desde 2014. Ha recibido ocho premios de Innovación Educativa por parte del Tecnológico de Monterrey. En 2018 recibió en colaboración con profesores del proyecto “Open Innovation Laboratory for Rapid Realization of Sensing, Smart and Sustainable Products” tres premios: Latin America Award (Gold Winner), Engineering and IT Award (Gold Winner) and Hybrid Learning Award (Silver Winner) del concurso Reimagine Education Awards 2018 (http://www.reimagine-education.com/), que organiza la rankeadora QS Stars.
